As flores dos tremoceiros são um buffet irresistível para abelhas e outros polinizadores.

Elas atraem pela cor, cheiro e estrutura floral, são portanto o convite perfeito.

Mais polinização = mais sementes, mais biodiversidade, mais vida.

Depois há a parte invisível, mas poderosa: as raízes.

Crescem fundo, até 2 metros (!) e quando a planta é colhida devolve ao solo matéria orgânica que alimenta o ecossistema.

O resultado? Solos mais férteis, cheios de micronutrientes e microrganismos felizes.

E há mais, os tremoços conseguem fixar nitrogénio no solo, reduzindo a necessidade de fertilizantes e ajudando outras culturas a crescer melhor.

São fortes, resilientes, quase dispensam pesticidas e precisam de muito pouca água para prosperar.

Quando entram na rotação agrícola, trazem biodiversidade, regeneração e mais rendimento para os agricultores.

Sourcing of lupins: some of our lupins come from Australia. Unfortunately, local lupin production is still scarce. Therefore, we are working as a bridge between farmers, academia, and industry to promote and increase local production. It's a gradual process, but one we are driving forward so that we can have 100% local lupins in the near future.

Our packaging: Plastic is currently the best way to maximize the quality of our products and protect their shelf life, allowing us to minimize food waste. That said, we are always looking for the best options available: our sachets use innovative technology that has a 58% lower carbon footprint than the industry average, and our Lummus jars are 100% recyclable. But we are always learning: if you have any suggestions, please get in touch!

Our requirements: All the shipping crate material we use is recyclable and, where possible, is also made from recycled material.
